What this is

Make is for designs that already exist

Make is for anyone who knows what they want made and has, or can point us to, what's needed to make it: a 3D model, a logo or vector file, a photo or artwork to engrave, or a simple part to copy.

An engineer checks every job before it goes on a machine. If something won't print or cut cleanly, we'll explain why and suggest a fix before you pay for ⁠anything.

Not quite there yet? If your piece still needs to be designed, that's a Design project, and we can help with that too.

From file to finished piece

Tell us what you need

Use the quote form to describe what you'd like made, with a link to your file or photos and the material, size and quantity you have in mind.

We check it over

We make sure it will print or cut cleanly and flag anything that needs adjusting. No meeting needed.

You get a quote

Pricing and a turnaround estimate, in writing and at no charge. Nothing starts until you approve it.

We make it

Your piece is made and finished in our own shop.

Pickup or delivery

Collect it locally or have it shipped to you.

Questions about Make

What files can I send?

Engraving names or other text? You don't need a file: just type the wording in the quote form. For photos or artwork, JPG or PNG images work well. For laser cutting, vector files such as SVG or DXF. For 3D printing, STL, STEP or OBJ models. Not sure what you have? Send it anyway and we'll tell you whether it's usable.

Do I need a meeting to get a quote?

No, and the quote is free. The details you give in the quote form are usually enough. We'll only reach out beforehand if something needs clarifying.

What if there's a problem with my file?

We catch it when we check your request over, and let you know before anything is made. Small fixes are usually quick. If the piece needs real design work, we'll suggest moving it to a Design project.

Can you replicate a part I already have?

For simple parts, often yes. More complex pieces may need to be properly redesigned first, which we'd handle as a Design project.

Can I order more than one?

Yes, from a single piece to a small run. Include the quantity in your request, since it affects pricing.

I'm an artist. Is Make right for me?

If you want a finished piece of yours reproduced on a new material, such as your artwork engraved onto wood, slate or dark glass, yes. If you need new custom parts shaped for your work, start with Design instead.

How long will it take?

It depends on size, material, quantity and what's already in the queue. Every quote includes a turnaround estimate before you commit.
